How wins work

  • The board has 8 reels × 4 rows and 65536 ways, with no fixed paylines. Matching symbols that appear on 3 or more consecutive reels from the left pay; the indigo flower substitutes for regular symbols.
  • A shibori knot ties its cell when it lands, and is untied into a wild at the end of the spin before the ways are counted. In the base game the wild and the knot appear on reels 2–8 only.
  • 3 or more indigo balls start Ten Blues (3/4/5 award 10/12/15 spins), where every spin dips the cloth once and advances the whole-board multiplier through the shades of indigo (×1, ×1, ×2, ×2, ×3, ×3, ×5, ×5, ×8, ×10).
  • Knots that land in Ten Blues stay tied for the whole round (up to 5 cells) and are untied all at once into wilds on the last spin for an extra count.

Paytable

Values are total-bet multiples per way: a win = total bet × table value × the product of matching symbols on each reel. The indigo flower (wild) and untied knots count as matching symbols; in Ten Blues the spin's colour multiplier applies on top. The paytable is the same source as in-game.

Special symbols

Indigo flower

Wild. The foam that only a healthy indigo vat raises; substitutes for regular symbols, not for indigo balls or knots. In the base game it appears on reels 2–8 only.

Shibori knot

A tied bundle of white cloth. In the base game it is untied into a wild at the end of the spin; in Ten Blues it stays tied for the round and is untied with the others on the last spin.

Indigo ball

Scatter. No connection required: 3 or more start Ten Blues; 3 or more during the bonus add 2 spins.

Features

Shibori knots

The knot is a tied bundle of white cloth. In the base game it ties its cell when it lands and is untied at the end of the spin into a snow-white shibori pattern that acts as a wild: ways through it only connect once it opens, and ways that do not touch it pay as usual and are not paid twice.

Ten Blues — colour multipliers

3/4/5 indigo balls award 10/12/15 spins; 3 or more during the bonus add 2 spins. Every spin the cloth is dipped into the vat once and the whole-board multiplier follows the shade of blue: ×1, ×1, ×2, ×2, ×3, ×3, ×5, ×5, ×8, ×10. Past 10 spins it stays at the deepest shade.

Tied for the round

A knot that lands in Ten Blues stays tied for the whole round: it stays white, does not spin and is an empty cell for ways; up to 5 cells, and any knot after that is untied into a wild at once.

The untying

On the last spin of Ten Blues (with no retrigger), after the ways are paid, the dyer pulls every binding thread: all tied cells become wilds and the board is counted again, and the extra wins they connect are paid at that spin's multiplier. If the tied cells form a snowflake, storm or fawn-spot pattern, that untying pay is multiplied by another ×5.

Volatility and positioning

Volatility 13.16. The 34.76% hit rate counts any winning round; 12.86% of all rounds return at least the stake. The base game carries about 51% of the RTP; Ten Blues comes about once every 97.33 spins, the multiplier deepens with every dip and the last spin turns every tied cell into a wild. A single round is capped at 7,800× the bet and ends when it hits the cap. This describes the product's positioning and does not guarantee any single session.

Bonus buy

Pay 46.31× the bet to start Ten Blues (10 spins). The price follows the expected value of the purchase route (bonus-buy RTP 96.32%) and is calibrated separately from regular play.

Sources & verification scope

This product specification is written and maintained by its developer, Akitsora Gaming (AKI電子 in Taiwan). Measurement methods and sample information for RTP, volatility and hit rate appear in the specification table. Sampled results have uncertainty; RTP describes long-run return, not an individual player or session outcome.

Internal simulations and tests are not independent certification. We do not currently hold GLI or BMM certification reports. Supply to a market requiring third-party certification depends on completing its requirements.

The story

Fiction and adapted settings written by Akitsora Gaming for this title, including invented dialogue and events. This is not a historical or folklore reference. The rules and specification tables define the gameplay and math.

Under a clear sky, long strips of dyed cloth billow from tall bamboo poles.
Lifted fresh from the vat, the fabric turns from emerald green to deep indigo in the breeze.

I. Long Cloths Drying in the Sun

On a bright afternoon in a traditional dye workshop by the river, warm sunlight slants across rows of earthen fermentation vats sunk deep into the floor. The air carries the rich, herbal scent of dried indigo leaves, and outside in the sunny courtyard, freshly rinsed bolts of cotton ripple in the wind between high bamboo frames.

The reel grid itself is a wide sheet of cloth lifted dripping from the dye bath. Floating atop the richest vats is the Indigo flower — the violet-tinted foam that signals a healthy ferment — serving on the board as a wild symbol that links wooden mallets, bamboo clamps, and traditional dye tools.

II. Indigo Foam and Bound Knots

Before a cloth ever touches the vat, the artisan pinches and binds small gathers of white fabric with tight cotton thread in the ancient resist-dyeing art of Shibori knots. Whenever a bound white knot lands on the inner reels in the base game, it holds that square fast until the reels come to rest.

At the end of the spin, the binding thread is pulled away to reveal the undyed cloth beneath, opening into a crisp snow-white geometric blossom that acts as a wild symbol. Every untied knot bridges ways across the wet indigo fabric while ways that do not touch it pay as usual without being counted twice.

III. Ten Dips into the Deepening Vat

Gather enough compressed Indigo ball scatters on the board and the workshop begins Ten Blues. Japanese tradition names every gradation of indigo: the first dip yields the pale sky-tint of kamenozoki, and with each spin the cloth is dipped into the vat, lifted to oxidize in the air, and dipped again into deeper hues.

As the shade darkens spin by spin toward the nearly black majesty of kachiiro, the whole-board multiplier climbs step by step along the colour ladder. Every shibori knot that lands during the feature remains tightly bound in place for the whole round, holding its unstained white square while the surrounding cloth grows ever darker.

IV. Pulling the Threads to Reveal the Snow

On the final spin of Ten Blues, after the regular ways have been paid at the deepest shade achieved, comes The untying. The dyer snips every binding thread at once: all reserved knots across the board bloom into snow-white wilds together, and the entire grid is evaluated a second time — with an extra flourish if the knots form a classic snowflake, storm, or fawn-spot pattern.

The finished bolt of cloth unfurls in the afternoon sunlight, crisp white stars shining against midnight blue as the river breeze catches the hem. That final unveiling of the pattern is the artistry of the theme, not a promise: every spin's outcome is still decided independently by the RGS random number generator.
