How wins work

  • The base grid is 5 reels × 4 rows with 40 fixed paylines.
  • A line pays when the same symbol appears on 3 or more consecutive reels from the leftmost reel; only the highest win on each line counts.
  • Fortune coins do not pay on lines: 6 or more on one spin launch the treasure ship (respins); the triggering spin still pays its line wins.
  • There are no lines inside the treasure ship: at the end every cell carrying a value is added up, then multiplied by Hotei's multiplier and the Full Sail bonus.

Paytable

Values are multiples of the total bet for a line of that length: win = total bet × table value (the same numbers as the in-game paytable). Fortune coins do not pay on lines; their values are paid all at once when the treasure ship settles.

Special symbols

Fortune coin

Does not pay on lines and carries a value (1–50× the bet). 6 or more on one base spin launch the treasure ship; inside it they lock and are added up at the end.

Four jackpots

Land only inside the treasure ship: Small Fortune 25, Middle Fortune 75, Great Fortune 300 and Seven Fortunes 1,500× the bet, fixed amounts.

Seven Lucky Gods

Land only inside the treasure ship. Each boards once per round and acts on boarding (see “Powers of the Seven Lucky Gods”).

Features

Launch — treasure-ship respins

Land 6 or more fortune coins on a base spin to set sail. Every coin carries a value (1–50× the total bet). Once the ship sails the coins lock and every other cell respins on its own, starting with 3 respins that reset to 3 whenever anything new lands; when they run out, the ship settles.

Gods aboard from the start

Each coin beyond 6 brings one god aboard at the start (up to 2) — the extra coins you see are the gods you get.

Powers of the Seven Lucky Gods

Each god boards once per round and acts on boarding: Daikokuten adds his own value (1/2/3/5/10× the bet) to every coin, Bishamonten strikes 3–8 random coins ×2, Benzaiten multiplies every coin by 1.5, Ebisu adds up the value of every other cell onto his own (those cells keep their values and are counted again at settlement), Fukurokuju raises the sail by one row, Jurōjin makes the gods already aboard act once more, and Hotei carries a ×2/×3/×5 multiplier applied to the final total.

Raising the sail — Full Sail

The sail starts at 5×4. Filling enough cells (12 cells at 4 rows, 18 cells at 5 rows, 24 cells at 6 rows, 30 cells at 7 rows) raises it by one row and resets the respins to 3, up to 5×8. A fully raised sail with every cell filled is Full Sail: the total ×2 (not to be confused with the Seven Fortunes jackpot).

Four jackpots

Any cell in the treasure ship may land a jackpot: Small Fortune 25, Middle Fortune 75, Great Fortune 300 and Seven Fortunes 1,500× the total bet, fixed amounts (Daikokuten, Bishamonten and Benzaiten leave them unchanged; Ebisu's collection includes them).

Volatility — positioning

Volatility 11.65. Hit rate 22.49% counts rounds with any win; 14.90% of all rounds return at least the stake. The base game carries about 52% of the RTP; the treasure ship sails about once every 168.63 spins and pays everything on its settling spin. This describes the product's positioning and does not guarantee session outcomes.

Two-tier bonus buy

Pay 72.95× the bet for “Set sail” — the ship launches with 6 coins placed — or 169.95× for “Seven-fortune sail”: the sail opens at 5×6 and 1 god boards on the first respin. Each tier is priced from the expected value measured along its own buy path (buy RTP 96.74% and 96.72%) and calibrated separately from the base game.

This product specification is written and maintained by its developer, Akitsora Gaming (AKI電子 in Taiwan). Measurement methods and sample information for RTP, volatility and hit rate appear in the specification table. Sampled results have uncertainty; RTP describes long-run return, not an individual player or session outcome.

The story

Fiction and adapted settings written by Akitsora Gaming for this title, including invented dialogue and events. This is not a historical or folklore reference. The rules and specification tables define the gameplay and math.

From the deep slumber of the long night, all awaken to the sound of a ship riding the waves.
One by one the Seven Lucky Gods step aboard as the golden sail climbs the sky.

I. The First Dream of the Year

For centuries across Japan, the second night of the New Year has been devoted to Hatsuyume, the year’s first dream. Families slip a woodblock print of the Takarabune treasure ship beneath their pillows before sleep, hoping to dream of the gilded vessel sailing in across the winter waves with a cargo of good fortune and prosperity. Golden starlight reflects off the lacquered hull as auspicious clouds part above the tranquil midnight harbor.

Beside the painted ship is traditionally inscribed a famous thirty-one-syllable palindrome poem in classical kana that reads the exact same syllable for syllable forwards and backwards—like a blessed treasure vessel that ventures out across the open sea at night and always returns safely to harbor with its hold full of gold. With silk sails billowed by a gentle tailwind, the New Year voyage carries centuries of festive folklore across the waves.

II. Seven Gods in a Single Boat

The Seven Lucky Gods sharing the wooden deck hail from many distant shores and traditions: Ebisu with his sea bream is Japan’s native patron of fishermen and honest trade; Daikokuten, Bishamonten, and Benzaiten journeyed from India through Buddhist lore; while Fukurokuju, Jurōjin, and laughing Hotei arose from Chinese Taoist and Zen legend. Golden starlight reflects off the lacquered hull as auspicious clouds part above the tranquil midnight harbor.

Brought together into one auspicious crew during the Muromachi age, they board this slot’s treasure ship whenever enough glowing Fortune Coins land on a base spin—and every extra coin beyond the trigger threshold invites one more lucky deity onto the deck right from the opening bell of the voyage. With silk sails billowed by a gentle tailwind, the New Year voyage carries centuries of festive folklore across the waves.

III. Divine Powers on the Deck

Once the treasure-ship respins begin, every fortune coin locks in place while empty cells spin independently, resetting the respin counter whenever a new prize or deity lands on the board. Each of the seven gods boards at most once per voyage and acts immediately: Daikokuten adds value to every coin, Bishamonten multiplies chosen coins, and Benzaiten boosts every coin aboard.

Meanwhile, Ebisu tallies the value of every other cell onto his own ledger while leaving their prizes intact for settlement, Fukurokuju hoists the sail one row higher, Jurōjin commands every god already aboard to trigger their blessing a second time, and Hotei brings a grand settlement multiplier for the end of the voyage. With silk sails billowed by a gentle tailwind, the New Year voyage carries centuries of festive folklore across the waves.

IV. Full Sail Across the Waves

Alongside the cloak and hat of invisibility, gold bundō weights, and wish-granting jewels of the base game, the ship’s hold can also land four fixed jackpots from Small Fortune up to Seven Fortunes. As more cells lock onto the deck, crossing each threshold raises the golden sail another row into the night sky. Golden starlight reflects off the lacquered hull as auspicious clouds part above the tranquil midnight harbor.

Should the golden sail climb to its topmost row with every single cell on the expanded grid completely filled by coins, jackpots, and deities, the vessel achieves Full Sail—multiplying the entire treasure hoard once more after Hotei’s blessing as the ship rides the morning waves into port. With silk sails billowed by a gentle tailwind, the New Year voyage carries centuries of festive folklore across the waves.
